I don't blame you, Jo!
Tomorrow, I'll be heading off on holiday for a couple of weeks. Some of the places I'll be staying do have internet access, but not all of them. As a result, I'll not be here every day, and there may be a gap of a couple of days or more between when I'm able to check in and see what's happening. I will be back on the 21st, but can't guarantee being here much between now and then. So don't worry if you don't see me here for a couple of days - I will be back!

Finally got a working connection, so able to check in!
And thanks, Jo. I'm going all around the UK from Scotland to the south coast.

Glad you're back, hun! How was your holiday? I've been that busy that I've not really had chance to do more then the occasional check-in here to make sure things were OK, but I don't think we've missed all that much this past couple of weeks.

It was a lot of fun, Jo, but I think I need another holiday to get over it!!

Having watched the news over the past couple of days, I've got to say I'm a bit worried about some folks I know in the New York area. I've heard from a lot of them, but there's still a few I'm waiting to hear from. Irvin, are you OK? And what about your sister, Jo - Isn't she in New York?

I'm OK, Adrian. Thanks.

Thanks for your concern, Adrian, but you don't need to worry. My sister and her husband moved out of New York a couple of years ago and live on Long Island now. They have lost power and are still waiting for it to be restored, and their garden has been pretty well trashed by the wind, but that's all.

OMG, I'm sooooo tired right now! There was no way I could go to bed last night until the result had been called, and I had to be up again at 8am, so I only got about three hours sleep. But it was worth it to see the Moron Mormon sent packing back to the planet Zolob...

Obama so deserved this. I had tears in my eyes.

I know, hun - I was there chewing my fingernails down to the bone, watching the BBC coverage as the early results came in. But when they finally called it, the release of tension was amazing and I had a few tears in my eyes too. I'm so glad that common sense prevailed and he's been given the time he needs to try and finish sorting out the mess he was left.

Seems like ages since I last posted here. Sorry it's been so long, but I've been really busy with all kinds of things, and just haven't had time to do more than just a quick scan of the forum to see if there's been anything new.
So is everyone looking forward to Christmas? It's going to be a quiet one for me, as we're not making a fuss about it or having any family over. Are you off home again, Jo - Or are you already there?
Anyway, I hope everyone has a good time and gets lots of nice presents, and I'll hopefully be able to chack in a bit more often over the next few days.

Hey, hun! Yeah, it's been really quiet here just lately, what with no news from Mischa.
And no, I'm not in California yet. In fact, I won't be until after Christmas, as this year we're spending the next few days with my b/f's family down in Devon (if we can get through all of the floods there!), and then it's off to California at the end of next week to spend New Year with my family.
