Oh, Lozza... It was a real shock when he said I'd failed the test and he was arresting me. And when he put the handcuffs on me, I was sooooooo scared (OK, it wasn't the first time I've had them on, but never in that way... ;D ). And then when they were booking me and I had to have my prints and picture taken - it just seemed so unreal and like a bad dream... But by far the scariest moment was hearing and seeing that cell door slam shut, knowing I couldn't get out of there until someone let me out - that really is one scary moment!!!... I really can't put into words just what all your support means to me right now. I know I screwed up, but the way everyone (here and at home) is being so amazing about it really does mean sooooo much to me. The latest news that I can pass on to you all is that my lawyer is going to move for an early arraignment hearing, so that he can start working on getting a decent deal for me. He wants to get that out of the way as quickly as possible because, once that's done, it means I'm free to fly back to the UK in a few weeks time to start my Masters course - sometimes, if you leave the country before your arraignment, the court can think you're trying to flee, and the next time you re-enter the US, you quickly find yourself dressed in orange.......... And he thinks it should all be over and sorted out by Christmas, so I shouldn't have it hanging over me over the holidays then.

Only the best for our Jo Ditto!! Only the best for our my Jo Thanks, guys!!!! (OMG, how many times have I said that this past few days? ? But I really do mean it - Like my family and friends, you're all being SO amazing about this, and its helping sooooo much. Yeah, I still feel like an idiot, and I'm also worrying a bit about how things are going to go when it all goes to court, but things are starting to get back to near normal...)

I am sure you will be more than OK Jo....and damn...think of the poor Mischa, with her mugshot slammed here and there on the web... *bawls* Yeah, at least I've not had to put up with that (and you know how I hate having my picture taken!!!...) - I guess that's one thing I have to be thankful for. It really is strange having to pose for those pictures. You see it all the time on TV and in movies, but you never think you'll actually be doing it yourself. But the worst bit is definitely being locked in a cell - hearing that door slam shut really is terrifying!!!.... Still, at least it was an individual one, and not one of those big communal ones you often see with about 20 people all in together - No way could I have handled being in one of those for the night!!! And thanks, Emma!...

The cell mates always steal your shoes!!
And your lucky that your parents could pay the bail - not everybody could!
