When I see the link in your post above, it seems like there's a space between the "5" and the ".php" - maybe that's the problem?? Or maybe the forum software doesn't recognise "php" as a filename extension???

I'm not sure why you've had this problem, Irvin. All I can think of is that, as Adrian suggested, it may be the filename extension. You say you posted the same link somewhere else - do you mean in another thread here, or on another forum? The reason I'm asking is because Proboards use their own unique bespoke software, which is different to the commercially-available software used by many other forum hosting services, so it may not recognise some filename extensions which are recognised by other forums...

Jo, that was a state of the art explanation! Thank you for that!

Sorry, hun!!!! (And I've noticed you seem to have had another problem with posting smilies...) I NO WTF! I couldnt see them when I posted but now I can!!!! ARGH! I've had a thought about what your problem may be... The smilies box, yt vids and image uploader all use javascript code which I have to put in the forum's global footer. Now, is the problem something to do with the fact that you're currently using a different computer, and the one you're using either doesn't have javascript enabled, or is using an out-of-date version of the software? It could be worth you checking to see if javascript is enabled... The reason I'm thinking that's what it could be is because all of the smilies you seem to be having problems with are ones from the smilie box. Also, whenever I quote one of your messages, those smilies appear, but if you quote one of mine where I've used them, they disappear and are replaced by the code that the smilie box inserts into the message. And that does make me think that's what the problem is - especially as you seem to be the only person having a problem, which makes me think the trouble is at your end and not an actual problem with the forum itself... Does that make sense to you? ?
