I love Marissa Cooper...she is my fav Charakter at the O.C...but..at the end .. poor Marissa Cooper..i cried soo long time when she died and volchok...the drugs...i think it was too much 'dramatic' at the end..  |

A sweet girl who unfortunately gets lost along the way! She always means well but sometimes it doesn't end up good for her! My favorite character on The O.C!

Marissa was a very good-hearted girl, but her life was very difficult and her mom..
Ryan and her were a very nice couple, probably the cutiest in the show.

marissa is my favourite character because she pretty much had it all the good and the bad and even though ryan was the most broken one at first she had alot more and she survived it all   . she wasconfused and lost but at the same time helped her friends and family and was the one 2 keep them together   . i've always luved her even much more through the trouble which made her more real 2 me and close 2 my heart and i realy cried when she died  |

I love the character of Marissa. It was what drew me to the show (and Mischa drew me to her as well) and what made me love the show. I loved Mischas portrayel of her, as the 'awkward, not always the perfect girl her mom wants her to be' type of girl with Mischas natural beauty, instead of the typical 'blonde ditsy cali girl' who was someone like Holly. If it had not been for Marissa, I dont know if I would be as drawn to the show. I love how she just tries to keep going on with her life and things just keep getting in the way and I think thats what drew her to Volchock/drugs at the end, she just didnt care anymore and stopped trying to be the perfect girl anymore because she knew her mom or someone would try to ship her off to an institution or some crap anyway. I was deeply saddened by Marissas death, and I didn not expect it because even though Ryan is the primary character, ALOT more storylines revolved around Marissa, so I didnt really think she would be killed off because I didnt think they really could (and they couldnt, which is why s4 was so crappy). My stupid tivo screwed up that night of the finale of s3 and it took me forever to find a copy on youtube or something, and I was dying to know who got killed off because there was an ad that said someone will be killed off next week and it had the 7 main characters on it. I figured it wouldve been Julie or someone you didnt really 'need'. I was shocked to find out it was Marissa. I called up my friend as soon as I saw and she was like "yeah..I thought to myself while watching this, Jessica is NOT going to like this.." LOL. Well, I didnt! And still dont! (lol)

mischa absolutely the best thing on the oc.
the oc was mainly about her life,i cant believe how the oc still goes on after her death
she is a very great girl,she have a very good heart,and yet her life is full of trouble bcos thats what keep the show alive!
i was so devastated over her death,i dont know why this show really get me,
but the 1st reason why i love the oc is bcos of marissa cooper
