Sorry to be negative, but the film looks really lame lol. I will probably be laughing at it even though it's meant to be scary. Not my type of thing. Mischa looks like she has done a really good job though, very convincing.

Sam found an extremely spoiler-filled synopsis of the movie. It reveals the entire plot and the ending, lol. WARNING: MOVIE SPOILER!! In a packed-up apartment, six year-old Julie unwraps a Christmas gift from her father, Richard. It’s a baby bull terrier for protection, in addition to the locked cage where she sleeps every night. That night as Richard guards the cage with a knife, a mysterious silhouette chloroforms them both. The next thing they know they are inside a wall with cement pouring overhead... walling them in.
Fourteen years later, demolition engineer Sam Walczak (Mischa Barton) attends her 25th birthday party. Brothers Vincent, Charles and Paul commiserate with former flame Mac Ilduff about her independent ways. Her father gives her two gifts: equal partnership at their demo company and a vacation to Europe.
Sam’s first assignment as partner brings her to a monumental abandoned, yet pristinely maintained building in the middle of marshy wetlands. She meets Alice (Deborah Kara Unger), the caretaker, her fourteen year-old son Jimmy (Cameron Bright) and his only companion, an aged bull terrier. Since there is nothing around for hundreds of miles, she stays in the building while she measures the specifications for the demolition. During her stay, she learns more and more of the history of the building and its mysterious architect, Malestrazza.
Malestrazza was an eccentric architect obsessed with Egyptian architecture. He originally intended the building to be for people who could not afford to live anywhere else. However, when people started disappearing from their apartments, people became suspicious. It wasn’t until Julie’s dog led them to the spot in his apartment where she had been walled in that they realized how evil he really was. Unfortunately, Malestrazza had already mysteriously disappeared. Now the only residents are Denise, a senile woman who kept all of Malestrazza’s original works and Flegenhorn, his former friend until he allowed to him take the blame for the murders.
Sam continues to be creeped out by Denise and Flegenhorn as well as clanging sounds within the walls and nightmares. She becomes closer to Jimmy. She sees him as a little brother, but it is obvious that he has a crush on her. Mac Ilduff comes to visit and they reconcile. When he discovers how creepy the building is, they decide to get away and take the European vacation.
Just as they are about to leave, Jimmy comes to their room, apologizing for getting upset with Sam before, offering Malestrazza’s original journal as a peace offering. As soon as Sam looks at some of the diagrams, the mystery of where Malestraza has been hiding becomes clear. She rushes to the roof, finding a trap door, the peak of an internal pyramid tomb where she hears Jimmy’s voice calling out to her that he has been hurt. She goes in after him, but MacIlduff—who was about to send for help—is gutted by a harpoon, falling eight stories, bringing her the rest of the way with him.
When Sam comes to she finds herself naked with a broken wrist and face to face with Malestrazza. Instead of the evil beast she imagined, he is actually a whimpering scoundrel manipulated by Jimmy. Jimmy and Alice have actually been hiding him there for years, making him suffer for murdering their father/husband. Sam tries to escape as best as she can, even building a make-shift bomb while she is taunted by both Jimmy and Malestrazza. Meanwhile Sam’s brothers show up to blast the building. Mid-countdown, Jimmy pipes up about stranded Sam trapped inside. He brings everyone to the trap door on the roof, revealing Sam below. Overcome with guilt, he throws himself into the tomb—his last act of manic love, sacrificing himself for Sam.

And why does it have to be the 20th??? That's one of the few days when I've got something on that I can't get out of...... BTW, have we seen this picture before?
