Based on the way she's playing recently, she does. But first the French, which is the only Grand Slam event of the four she hasn't won.

Noticed on the news a couple of days ago that she'd made it to the fourth round....

That's right, Adrian! She just won her quarter final match today, and plays in the semi-finals on Friday! If she wins the next 2 matches, she will be the 10th woman in history to win all 4 grand slam events. She had 3 of them won before her devistating injury in 2008 that set her back for close to 2 years. But she fought back and now she may win the French, which is the only major she hasn't won! And to think that she's only 24 yrs. old.

Yeah, it's a dark day. Because of her shoulder injury in 2008, she's had to toss the ball up extremely high to get leverage on her serve. There were high winds, with gusts up to 30 mph in her match yesterday, which was devistating to her serve, and that's the strongest part of her game. Li Na played a great match, but without those winds, I think Masha would have probably won. On to Wimbledon!

Yeah, I know only too well from playing my mom on our court at home just how difficult high winds can make things... Hopefully, she'll have better luck at Wimbledon.

So is she playing at Queens as well?

So is she playing at Queens as well? She dropped put of Birmingham, and her next event is Wimbledon. As far as I know, there was no mention of Queens, which is really a warm-up.

Probably a good thing that she's not at Queen's, as it'll give her a chance to rest a bit more and be fresher than those who have gone there. And I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for her again when she's at Wimbledon.
