CSN live? Aww, hun - Can you do me a copy of that, please? Our music circle plays CSN songs, in addition to Neil Young. Love that stuff!! Me too, hun - I've been lucky enough to meet David Crosby a couple of times when he's been up here in the Bay Area... Now listening to "Any Way You Want It" by Journey.

We have similar tastes in music, Jo. Do you sing or play? One of my ex-b/f's tried to teach me the guitar, but it was during my "wild time" and I just didn't have the patience to stick with it. But, when I was 18, I did spend some time singing with a band - kind of a garage band that some of the guys at school put together, although we did play a few small local shows in places like Mill Valley, Tiburon and Sausalito (usually supporting other better-known local bands...). Although I've not really done any serious singing since then, I still do a little bit of singing around the house as I'm doing other stuff, and sometimes around at friend's houses when they have like an informal jam session as part of an evening there. Plus, I do sometimes get dragged up on stage to help sing the last song of the show when my dad and I go to see Jefferson Starship. (They kind of have a tradition that, whenever they've got folks there in the audience that they know, there's a very good chance that at least a couple of them will end up on stage with the band for the last song, helping out on the chorus...)

I'm going through a new music phase I'm loving at the moment Them Crooked Vultures - New Fang which is a "Supergroup" with John Paul Jones, Dave Grohl and Josh Homme.
The track i'm listening to is Editors - Papillon from the Ablum - In This Light And On This Evening

How can she do it? Tal Wilkenfeld is a 22 year old bass player who tours with legendary greats such as Jeff Beck, Chick Corea, Eric Clapton, Herbie Hancock, Steve Vai, and the Allman Brothers, among others! They're old enough to be her grandfather. How does she do it? Here's how. Check out her amazing solo at 1:14.... www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIFFRHBCPzA
