OK, well, I've finally found a few minutes to do a post here... These aren't my pictures - I've lifted them from various websites. I did post some of my own on the old fourum in my "holiday pictures" thread, and I'll probably upload them again here soon. But these will have to do for now!! Marin County, California.A map of Marin County, so you know where it is: Manchester, UK.This is where our house is (It's in there somewhere, but maybe not in the centre - and I've blanked the street map bit for obvious reasons...)The University: Canal Street (part of the famous "Gay Village"...) And one final pic I just had to include: Whenever my b/f and I are out shopping in the city centre and we go past the shop where this is, I always just pause slightly, look at this sign, let out a little sigh, and give my b/f one of those "what are you looking at me like that for?" looks, and then carry on walking. Maybe one day he'll get the message!!!!

When quoting messages in threads like this, can people please remember NOT to quote the pictures unless you really need to. If there's one picture in a group, and you need to make it clear which picture you're talking about, that's OK, but please don't include pictures in quoted messages unless you really have to. Thanks!
Remember rule 9:

Thanks, Chia & Lozza!!!! Yeah, I love living in Marin County! It really is such a nice place to be - quiet, beautiful, but only about half an hour over the Golden Gate Bridge from all the fun of the city. And we've got such a wonderful house there too. I've already decided that it's where I want to live the rest of my life (if possible), so I guess I've found my real home. The UK will always be special to me, because it's where I was born, but California is definitely home now... Manchester's OK too, although a bit grey, gloomy and wet at times. But there's always something going off, and some nice pubs too. Plus it's only a couple of hours from my grandparents and some of my other relatives, so I can go visit them whenever I want to. (When I was at school in CA, I saw them about once a year - now I can see them just about as many times a year as I want.) And the last picture?? Yeah... I mean, I know I've got the fake ring I wear pretty much all the time to cut down on the hassle at work, but it's just not the same!! And we have decided that we're definitely going to - all we need to do now is decide when...

Fantastic pictures, everyone. I guess I'll have to sort out a few of where I live and get them posted too.
And Jo, tell your b/f from me that if I was him, I'd have got you up the aisle and got that ring on your finger a long time ago!! You're gorgeous, intelligent, funny and caring - that's a very special combination, and I hope he realises that he's so lucky to have you!
