Hi, i'm new here, I've just recently become a fan of Mischa and so here I am. I'm from Italy, Rome to be precise, had I known it I could have gone to see them filming "Virgin Territory" as part of the filming was done near Rome... But apart for that, my name is giovanni, and I'm a 23 years old...pleased to meet you all!

Hi there, and welcome! I'm Adrian, from the UK, and it's good to see another addition to the ranks of that most endangered of species - male Mischa Barton fans! We're a bit outnumbered here, but they treat us OK (most of the time!!! ;D ;D)...

Yeah, I've kind of noticed that girls here outnumber us, I've thought it a bit odd too, especially considering how crazy about Mischa they are, lol. But hey, I guess that's all because of Mischa's greatness! ;D Thanks for welcoming me, Adrian and Greg!

Hi there, hun!!! I'm Jo, the forum admin. Sorry I wasn't here earlier to welcome you, but I was half-way across the Atlantic at the time! Anyway, glad to have you here (yaayyyyyy - another guy!!! ), and I hope you have loads of fun! Just a quick bit about me, so you know who I am etc... I'm 22, almost 23, and although I was born in the UK, I now live in California, just north of San Francisco - But I'm at university in Manchester right now, which is why I've just flown back to the UK today...

It's a pleasure to know you, Jo. So do you live in Manchester most of the year? Is it a nice town? I've always been curious about it, the only English city I've seen is London some years ago, and the Dublin but that's in Ireland...
Sorry for my curiosity, but what are you studying in Manchester? ;D Also, since you were born there, I'm ready to bet that you have some kind of interest in football, so, who are you a fan of, the City or the United? ;D

I spend term-time in Manchester, and then split holidays between Marin County in California, which is where my parents live, and north Devon, which is where my b/f's parents are - I share a house here in Manchester with him and my big brother. So I'm here about 9 months a year at the moment...
And yeah, Manchester is OK, but it's not where I was born - I was actually born about 50 miles south-west of here, in Derbyshire. As a city, I like it, but I much prefer San Francisco, which is why I love living where we do, because we're just over the Golden Gate bridge, about half an hour or so from the city.
What am I studying? Well, I've just finished a degree in physics, and I'm about to start a Master's Degree in it too. I'm hoping to go all the way and get as far as a Doctorate, which is what both my b/f and brother are doing now, but I'll have to wait and see about that!
And football? Ugh, no thanks!!!! I can't stand it! I'm actually more of a motorsport fan myself... But I often have to pretend to like it, because I work a couple of evenings in a local pub, and often get guys trying to talk to me about it!

Guys will always try to talk about football ;D
Well, I'd love to live in San Francisco too, but generally in the U.S.A. Probably my preferred town would be Miami though.
I'm studying at the university too, here in Rome. I'm studying Chemical Engineering. Pretty difficult stuff, and at times I ask myself why could I have chosen somethign easier, I would be done with it already. But in the end, I like it.

I've been to Miami (I passed through there at the end of the round-the-world trip I did just before starting my degree), and just found it too fake for me. Out of all the cities I've visited or stayed in, San Francisco is definitely my favourite - then again, I'm a bit of a hippie, so it's probably no surprise!!
And yeah, there've been times when I wondered why I picked such a hard subject!....
