Sam's posted on Twitter that it's really great, and that Mischa is outstanding... I knew it! I always knew it was going to be good! I just saw my favorite 2 words on the Netflix site in my queue: "shipping today". I should have a copy in tomorrow's mail! Don't know when I'll be able to get a copy, what with finances being so tight right now...

How about a rental? Ps. It's strange....I modified my post ^^ , and it was deleted and appeared as a new post. Very strange...... And renting isn't really an option, as there's no rental shops in town (or even the next town...) - People around here just don't seem to be into renting DVDs, and on the rare occasions someone tries opening a rental place, it never seems to last long. I guess that's what happens when you live in a town that, over the past 20 years, has lost all of it's major employers and become more of a "dormitory town" for young professionals who have enough money to travel long distances to work, can outbid the locals (who are now mostly unemployed or trapped in low-paid menial jobs) on all of the houses because they want to live in such a beautiful area, and who can afford to buy DVDs they want to watch, rather than just renting them. How bad is it in town? Well, 20 years ago, we had a huge cotton mill, the first oil refinery ever built, a large and rather well-known sweet manufacturer (Thornton's), three large hosiery manufacturers, and a cleaning products manufacturer (Deb, home of Swarfega...) - Plus a lot of people in town worked for the railways at Derby Locomotive Works. And now? Derby Loco Works has gone, as have all of the big manufacturers in town except for Deb - And they're in the process of moving out of town to a new site about five miles away... So, by the end of the year, we'll have no major employers left in town, and just about the only local jobs will be minimum-wage shop or bar work... Even with all of my qualifications, I can't get a local job, as they think I'm OVER-qualified for what's on offer, and as I don't have my own transport at the moment, I can't travel to the better-paying jobs I am qualified for!!! I think the closest rental place is probably about 10 miles away now and, as much as I love Mischa, it just isn't worth all of that travel on very expensive public transport - especially as the travel and rental costs will be about equal to buying the DVD in the first place!!!....

I'm sorry to hear that, Adrian. The only other thing I can think of is watching it online. There are several sites that offer that free of charge. I'll see if I can find one, or maybe Jo has access to one.

Ps. It's strange....I modified my post ^^ , and it was deleted and appeared as a new post. It's got me puzzled too... And awwww, Adrian, hun.... I kind of know what it's like around where you are, because (as you know) you're only a couple of miles or so from where I was born and lived until I was ten, and the primary school I went to (St Elizabeth's) is just down the road from you. We've still got family and friends in the area, so I do get to hear a bit about what's happening there, but I never realised it was quite that bad until now! As for the movie, don't worry - You can borrow my copy of the DVD after I've seen it... (After all, I still owe you for the DVD of CSN at Glastonbury that you sent me, don't I??)

And you went to St Elizabeth's? (Oh, of course, you would have done - I keep forgetting that you're a Catholic, and that's the only Catholic primary school in the area.....) That's literally only about a mile from my house!! And yes, it is that bad here now. All we seem to have in the area are a few small factories, all of which seem to be struggling, and loads of shops and bars. If you want any other kind of jobs, especially if you're well-qualified, you've got to look at either moving away or spending an hour each way travelling to work in places like Nottingham, Leicester or Sheffield...
